It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected transition of our CEO's mother, Ms. Miriam Davis, on 7/28/21. She was her daughter's world and the light of her life. Ms. Davis always brought so much love and laughter to everyone that she encountered! She is the inspiration that represents the "Miri" in MiriCo Apparel. Her fight will not go in vain as her testimony shall be heard! She is forever loved and sorely missed! 🕊❤️

THE STORY BEHIND THE BRAND
MiriCo Apparel was founded by Army veteran, Yolanda Davis, but inspired by her mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer.
One sleepless night, while lying by her mother's bedside, tears slowly streamed down her face as she stared at her mother, who slept so peacefully. In that moment, while admiring her mother's undeniable strength, she literally heard a voice say, "miracle," as if someone else was in the room! For months, she struggled to think of a name for her business, but always knew that she wanted to incorporate her mother (Miriam) and grandmother (Cora), in some way. After hearing that voice, God instantly redirected her path. She combined her mother and grandmothers names and MiriCo Apparel was born!
After, her mother's diagnosis, she began to think of other cancer warriors and what she could do to help support and motivate them along with their families. Fighting cancer is never easy! It is emotionally draining for both, cancer patients and their loved ones. This brand means the world to Mrs. Smith and so much so that she literally created and designed every piece of clothing, slogans, packaging, website, etc., reflecting her passion, dedication, and love within each design.
We would like to bring more awareness and support for ALL types of cancer! It is a 24/7 battle that should be highlighted everyday! Our main goal is to uplift and encourage our cancer warriors to keep fighting, but with style and optimism.
